Two-Year Manufacturing Defect Warranty
Two years of support for covered manufacturing defects and lights that stop working under normal use.
Neon Motive provides a two-year limited manufacturing-defect warranty from the date of delivery, in addition to any mandatory consumer guarantees that apply.
6.1 What the warranty covers
- Confirmed manufacturing defects in the LED lighting under normal use.
- Confirmed defects in internal wiring.
- Confirmed defects in the included controller or dimmer.
- Confirmed defects in the included power supply.
- Material workmanship defects that prevent normal intended use.
6.2 What the warranty does not cover
- Drops, impact, cracked acrylic caused after delivery or other accidental damage.
- Improper installation, unsuitable fixings or failure of the supporting wall or structure.
- Use with an unsuitable voltage, power supply, controller or electrical connection.
- Power surges, lightning, fire, flood or other external events.
- Unauthorised modification, repair, cutting, rewiring or disassembly.
- Misuse, neglect or operation contrary to the supplied instructions.
- Water or weather exposure where the product was not sold as suitable for that exposure.
- Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect function.
6.3 Making a warranty claim
Submit the order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs or video showing the fault. We may ask the customer to perform safe troubleshooting steps. Do not open electrical components or attempt a repair unless we provide written instructions.
6.4 Warranty remedy
After confirming a covered defect, we may provide troubleshooting, a replacement component, repair, a remake or another remedy required by law. The chosen remedy must be reasonable for the fault and must not reduce mandatory consumer rights. Where the claim is covered, we will not charge the customer for the approved remedy or the corresponding replacement shipment.
6.5 No reduction of statutory rights
This commercial warranty is an additional promise. It does not replace or shorten any legal guarantee or consumer right that applies for a longer period or provides a broader remedy.
6.8 Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
