Cookie and Tracking Policy
How necessary, preference, analytics and advertising technologies are controlled.
This policy explains how Neon Motive uses cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies.
9.1 Categories
- Necessary: authentication, security, cart, checkout, market selection and consent storage.
- Preferences: language, currency, display and saved builder settings.
- Analytics: website and builder usage measurement, subject to consent where required.
- Advertising: conversion measurement, remarketing and enhanced-conversion support, subject to consent and applicable law.
9.2 Consent
Where consent is required, non-essential analytics and advertising storage remain denied until the customer chooses them. The preference centre must provide Accept All, Reject Non-Essential and Save Preferences choices. Customers can reopen the settings from the footer and withdraw consent at any time.
9.3 Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode
Google Tag Manager manages measurement tags. Google Consent Mode communicates the customer’s choices through the relevant consent signals. Denying consent may limit measurement but must not prevent necessary shopping functions.
9.4 Cookie inventory
The storefront uses nm_consent for consent choices (180 days), NEXT_LOCALE for the selected market (up to one year), nm_cart and checkout draft browser storage for shopping continuity, Firebase session storage for authentication, and transaction-based purchase deduplication keys. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads storage load only when enabled for the production storefront and allowed by the customer’s consent choice. Providers, purposes and durations are reviewed whenever the tracking configuration changes.
9.5 Browser controls
Customers may also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent login, saved carts, checkout or other requested functions.
