Uploaded Artwork and Intellectual Property Policy
Your responsibilities and our limited permission to prepare uploaded artwork for production.
Customers may upload logos, names, icons, photographs or other artwork for custom production.
11.1 Customer assurance
By uploading content, the customer confirms that they own it or have permission to use, reproduce and manufacture it. The customer must not upload another party’s trademark, copyrighted artwork, photograph or confidential design without authorisation.
11.2 Limited production licence
The customer grants Neon Motive and its production and fulfilment partners a limited licence to store, adapt, convert and reproduce the submitted content only as reasonably necessary to quote, proof, manufacture, deliver and support the order.
11.3 Design adaptation
We may propose reasonable technical simplification of fine details, narrow strokes, gradients or small text. No material creative change should be manufactured without customer approval.
11.4 Refusal
We may refuse content that is unlawful, unsafe, hateful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or otherwise unsuitable for production. Where practical, we will explain the reason and refund any unearned amount.
11.5 Marketing use
We will not use a customer’s private logo, artwork, proof or finished sign for public marketing unless the customer has provided the required permission. A separate, revocable media consent should be stored for that purpose.
